MADISON (WKOW) -- Organizers with the Wisconsin chapter of the American Parkinson Disease Association couldn't have asked for better weather today for their event at Warner Park.
Hundreds of walkers of all ages came out to to raise money for Parkinson's disease research at the 11th annual chapter event.
WKOW's Tony Galli was master of ceremonies and kicked off the festivities for the one mile walk, raffle event and cookout.
Planners had hoped to raise $15,000 and as of the start of the event, 96 percent of their goal had been met. All net proceeds benefit research and local APDA programs.
