The St. Louis American Parkinson Disease Association raised over $112,000 at its fall fundraiser.
The event, held Oct. 20 at the Ritz-Carlton hotel, included a cocktail reception and book signing and presentation by Jon Palfreman, author of “Brain Storms.” Part of the funds raised will go toward the planned expansion of the Parkinson’s resource center.
Garden View Care Center and James & Alison Bates Foundation each contributed $10,000 as key sponsors.
