In this video from Butler Hospital, Providence, shared in November 2010, Dr. Joseph H. Friedman, an international expert in Parkinson’s disease, discusses some of the common symptoms of the condition as patients talk about how these symptoms affect their day-to-day life.
Dr. Friedman explains that in order to be diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease a patient would need to present three out of four features. These features are a resting tremor, the presence of bradykinesia (which is slowness of movemen), rigidity, and a stooped posture.
