Parkinson's Boot Camp will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 29 at the First United Methodist Church, 201 W. High Ave., New Philadelphia.
Sign-in will begin with a light breakfast at 9:30 a.m., and lunch will be served at noon. Camp founder Dr. Benjamin Walter, a neurologist and movement disorders specialist at the University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center, will be accompanied by keynote speaker Ellen Walter, an acute care nurse practitioner at the center, and a presentation on the yUHr Move! training program. Representatives from the University Hospitals Neurological Institute and the Union Hospital Healthplex also will be present.
Caregivers are welcome to attend along with Parkinson's patients.
