The Portuguese pharmaceutical company, Bial, launched its “Me At My Best” campaign on World Parkinson’s Day on April 11 to raise awareness of the disease and offer support to those who suffer from it. Parkinson’s disease may eventually lead to a loss of independence, but patients with the condition will strive to do as much as they can for as long as they can.
The company invited Parkinson’s disease patients to share all the ways they overcome Parkinson’s disease when it comes to daily tasks. They’re still able to do them, they just do them a little bit differently now.
The video demonstrates that although Parkinson’s disease patients struggle with the symptoms of the disease every day, they are much more than the disease. Find out more about Bial’s “Me At My Best” campaign here.
