Whether you’re grappling with a new Parkinson's diagnosis, or you have been traveling your Parkinson's journey for years, you are more than familiar with the whirlwind of feelings that can emerge. You’re doing your best to stay informed about how to improve your symptoms and live well, despite your diagnosis. With so much information out there, how do you make sense of it all? How can you take what you learn and put it into a plan that feels doable? In this lecture, Sarah King, PT, DPT will walk you through how to build your personal "Parkinson’s Plan of Attack" to move out of being overwhelmed and into action so you can wake up each day feeling empowered and confident that you're doing everything in your power to combat your Parkinson's symptoms.
Learner Outcomes
• List the three critical components to a “Parkinson’s Plan of Attack.”
• List a valuable tool to tracking the effectiveness of a “Parkinson’s Plan of Attack.”
• Describe how practicing mindfulness can help combat the effects of Parkinson’s.
