The World Parkinson's Coalition will be accepting travel grant applications now through December 7, 2018.
Submission of an application does not constitute an award.
Applicants should NOT incur expenses until written notification of award is received.
Please note that the WPC, in an effort to support as many participants as possible, looks to offer travel monies to help cover the costs, but will rarely offer to cover all expenses. It is in your best interest to show that you are working to raise money to attend and that you just need some additional support to make this happen. By offering partial travel grants, the WPC can ensure that more people have the chance to attend the WPC.
WPC offers a limited number of grants to:
- junior researchers and clinicians;
- health professionals and researchers from developing parts of the world;
- people with Parkinson's.
Travel grants will cover some or all of the following:
- lodging expenses for three to five nights stay at a hotel. (length of stay determined by distance traveled and need)
- registration
- in some cases, an additional daily stipend may be offered based on need and paid onsite in American dollars upon check-in at registration desk at Congress.
The number of scholarships is subject to availability of funds.
All persons applying for scholarship funds are required to respond to the questions below via our online submission site. Applications emailed to the WPC will not be accepted.
