OMIGOSH! How will you get off the floor if there's no one to help?
If you have no pain you may be able to help yourself stand. Here’s some illustrations of falling on your back and using a chair seat as an assist. Steps are explained under each photo.
(Pay particular attention to the first five photos if you have problems turning in bed, these will help you keep from being a "turtle!")
slide one leg up next to the other, foot on floor
drop bent leg over straight one as you turn your head in that direction
keep turning till your knee reaches or almost reaches the floor
as you bring the arm over (and put hand on floor) begin to begin to lift the head
keep knee bent as you push up on arms...at this point you can re-position your self in a bed
stablize using arms and draw knee up toward hand, you may need to crawl to a piece of furniture or something solid you can pull yourself up with
put one hand on the seat...(use the heaviest piece of furniture you can...I used this chair because it was in the room with my camera)
slide onto knees
now both hands on seat
get one foot under your body, tuck toes of back foot
keep feet slightly apart to stand. Now sit down and congratulate yourself!
