CHARITABLE singers were in fine voice to raise £2,000 for Parkinson’s UK.
Sing It Loud Community Choir performed to a packed St Mary’s Church in Warwick, accompanied by the Warwick Symphony Orchestra.
The Leamington-based choir sang members who are living with Parkinson’s and friends who have also been diagnosed.
Rosie Sayers, chair of the Leamington-based choir, said: “One of our members was diagnosed with Parkinson’s ten years ago. Singing has been proven to help with the symptoms that she and many others experience and we were delighted to be able to raise money to help find a cure.”
Sarah Wakeman from Parkinson’s UK thanked the choir and orchestra for their effort.
