NorthBay Healthcare neurologist Shahid Rehman, M.D. will discuss Parkinson’s disease symptoms and treatments during the next #OurDocTalk chat from 8 to 8:30 a.m. May 17 on Facebook.
Parkinson’s disease is a progressive disorder of the nervous system that affects movement. Tremors may be the most well-known sign of Parkinson’s but the disorder also commonly causes stiffness or slowing of movement.
NorthBay’s #OurDocTalk is a series of live Facebook chats designed to connect practitioners with the community to answer questions on a variety of health issues. Interested followers who visit NorthBay’s Facebook page, Facebook.com/NorthBayHealthcare, will be able to post their questions and comments, or send them via Facebook Messenger, and then Rehman will reply. Questions also may be submitted in advance to Robin.Miller@NorthBay.org.
