A new study reveals a link between a bacteria residing in the gut with Parkinson's Disease. Scientists are saying that its discovery could play a huge role in the new treatment of this disease.

In an article published by Gulf Times, researchers are now looking into the option of going for the gut as the target for initial treatment in Parkinson's Disease. Traditionally, doctors focus on the brain, but since this finding, they are opting for this option that is hopefully going to work faster than before.
Researchers all over America and Europe have found this revolutionary discovery using mice for their experiment. What happened was them changing the bacteria living in the mice's guts resulted in the outcome of some changes as well with the symptoms of Parkinson's Disease.
They said that there is a chance they could be developing new probiotics based on their discovery. For those who are not aware of what Parkinson's Disease is, it is the kind of ailment that affects the brain cells, as they acquire a lot of protein known as alpha-synuclein and then wears off. You know a person was stricken by this disease when their motor skills are jeopardized, and they always shake. Tremors are present and most they would also experience mental and physical deformities.
Parkinson.org also confirmed this latest discovery that could bring hope to patients with this disease. Lots of people in the medical industry who specialize in Parkinson's Disease are even convinced of the possibility that this illness could start in the gut area. Constipation is among the common symptoms, which makes doctors believe in their theory.
Do you think that the bacteria in the gut has a lot to do with Parkinson's Disease? If you know anyone battling with this disease, share this information, as this could bring them the hope that they need.
