Rock Steady Boxing invites locals to "shake it for Parkinson's"

JOHNSON CITY PRESS • APRIL 24, 2019

Rock Steady Boxing is inviting area residents to dance with boxers and support them in the fight against Parkinson’s Disease on April 27 from 10:30 a.m. to noon.

The dancing event, which will be hosted at the Lifestyle Center at 316 Marketplace Blvd., will invite two dance instructors to lead coordinated dance routines before attendees participate in a “freestyle dance.”

All ages are welcome to the event, which will include hundreds of dollars worth of door prizes.

The event asks for a minimum $5 donation to sponsor an individual with Parkinson’s for membership to Rock Steady Boxing.
