Safety First
- If the weather is cold and you go outside- Wear layered clothing, gloves, hat and coat. Don't stay outside too long. Wear proper footing such as socks and boots.
- Be careful if it is icy or snowing- don't attempt to shovel the snow or ice, you could fall and break your bones. Ask someone.
- Please don't try to drive in bad weather.
- If shopping is difficult for you, ask someone to take you on good days, or just order online if you want.
- Now when it comes to decorating for the holidays, don't over-do-it, keep it small, so you don't get overly tired and stressed. Place your tree in a safe area, so you don't trip over your tree or decorations. If using a live tree - water it everyday. Make certain your tree lights are not frayed. Keep decorations in areas that you will not trip or knock over.
- As for candles, Play it safe use battery or electric candles. They don't cause a fire.
