June 17: Annual Iowa Parkinson's Disease Conference

Host: American Parkinson Disease Association Iowa Chapter

About: A full day of experiences that include lectures on topics related to Parkinson's disease,

including therapies such as boxing, laughter yoga and deep brain stimulation. Experts in the
field will also discuss research, medication basics and tips for living well, among other
topics. Keynote speaker will be Tim Hauge Sr., winner of the Amazing Race Canada.

Registration of $15 for individuals or $25 for couples includes continental breakfast and lunch.

When: 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Where: Lutheran Church of Hope

Registration is now closed – we will accept walk-in registrations the day of the conference. The conference is at 925 Jordan Creek Pkway, West Des Moines, IA 50266. $15/person and $25/couple (person with Parkinson’s and their caregiver). We can accept only cash or check.
