A recent study reveals that exercise can be used in managing the wide range of Parkinson's disease symptoms and is seen to likely slow down the known rapid progression of the disease. To improve a patient's mobility, balance, flexibility, coordination and other cognitive skills which involves organization, high-intensity aerobic exercise is found to be an effective means.

As revealed by Fox8, researchers suggest that the earlier a patient can begin with the therapy and joining series of exercise program, the better for his condition will be. On the other hand, experts note that it is just but crucial for a patient to collaborate and actively work with therapists so as to develop a certain kind of exercise routine particularly designed for a specific person in order to help the patient in the treatment process and as well as to avoid possible injuries.

Furthermore, KUTV has recently reported that for the physical therapy and athletic training professor at the University of Utah, Dr. Lee Dibble, following such recommendations is actually one of the best medicines possible.Experts have also found that just as exercise helps in improving everyone's heart, lungs, and muscles, it's even more important for those with Parkinson's disease. There has also been known evidences which suggests that exercise can also enhance cognitive function.
For Parkinson's patients, the University of Utah specifically offers several classes of group exercise which includes non-contact boxing, a certain type of exercise known to be beneficial for the said patients allegedly including the management of the symptoms.
Additionally, in the US alone, statistics show that an estimated one percent of the population of Americans over the age of 65 have been inflicted with Parkinson's disease.
